Our honest take: for adults on a short visit, no. For families, usually yes. The two things that change the day are the waterproof gloves and the included meal at The Lodge. Standard fleece gloves soak through within about 40 minutes if your kids are handling snow properly, and once hands are wet in a -2°C room, the visit has a hard stop coming. The meal matters because you cannot bring outside food into the park, and buying lunch for four inside closes most of the price gap anyway.
